Perfectly Imperfect
We, humans, are prone to making mistakes, and my collaborators and I are no exception. A print smudge here, a nicked frame there…etc. Instead of letting them go to waste, I offer them at a substantially reduced price. I don’t often make much profit on these items, but they stay out of the landfill and become accessible to someone who perhaps couldn’t otherwise afford them. Like misshaped fruit, they are onliest in the world and offer beauty and purpose.
My seconds are:
Made with the same love and attention to detail as their full-priced brothers and sisters.
Never damaged, unsafe or unusable.
Always described in detail and photographed so that you know exactly why and how the item(s) didn’t make the cut.
We had a run of bags that had a slight fade to the printed design at the bottom right hand corner of both the Classic and Funky editions (the dragon fruit specifically).
